The Room for the community, by the community

In the town of Burns you will find the "Room". A place to donate your unwanted items, pick up items, or volunteer your time - at no cost or commitment to you. The "Room" is the brainchild of Sophia Aerhart, a single mother dedicated to bringing the community together. "This is a community effort. From the logo to the clothes. All of it is given by the community for the community," Sophia said.

For three years Burns has had the "Room" to grow. It is now two rooms. Originally Aerhart petitioned the Burns Town Council for one room, and got it. But when need for space exceeded her expectations...
