Deadline for hunter management permission slips nearing

Hunters interested in obtaining permission slips through the Game and Fish Hunter Management Area (HMA) program are reminded that the deadline to get into the drawings for some of the areas where HMA permits are available is Aug. 17.

Deadlines to obtain permits or apply for drawings can vary with the different HMA areas. Some areas have unlimited permits available while others are limited and are available only via drawing. Details on application deadlines for various hunt areas and the procedure for obtaining permission slips is on the Game and Fish website http://wgfd.gov.
