Community Calendar

Items for possible inclusion in the weekly community calendar should be typewritten or legibly printed. All submissions should include the name and daytime telephone number of the person submitting the information in case questions arise.

Items which may be included in the calendar are church events, club meetings, and school events.

If your club will not be meeting or has a change, please contact us so we can update the calendar with the correct information as soon as possible.

Items should be received on Monday at 5 p.m., one week prior to the date they will appear in the calendar.

They may be faxed to 307-245-3325, e-mailed to [email protected], mailed to Pine Bluffs Post, P.O. Box 68, Pine Bluffs, WY 82082, or dropped off at the Post’s office located at 201 E. 2nd St.

Every morning from 8 a.m. to 10:30 .m. you can get together with your friends for coffee and conversation at the Pine Bluffs Senior Center.

Every Tuesday

Every Tuesday at 1 p.m. Bingo is held at the Pine Bluffs Senior Center.

Wednesday & Friday

Senior Shape Up at the Pine Bluffs Fitness Center from 8:15 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. This is a free exercise program designed to promote flexibility, muscle strength, coordination and general overall fitness.

Friday, September 4

The Pine Bluffs High School Hornets football and volleyball teams will play the Burns Broncs at Burns High School today.

Sunday, September 6

Dalton Fuller will be at the Pine Bluffs Senior Center for the monthly dance playing popular tunes for dancers of all ages from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Light refreshments and finger food will be available at 5 p.m.

Monday, September 7

Today is Labor Day. Due to the holiday, the four-day school week in Laramie County School District 2 will be Tuesday thru Thursday of this week.

Thursday, September 10

Laramie County Weed & Pest Control District will hold its regular monthly board meeting tonight at the Little Bear Inn, Cheyenne, at 6:30 p.m.

Saturday, September 12

Grover Days will be held in the park. More details will be provided at a later time.

Tuesday, September 15

The Laramie County Cow Belles will host 850 students this year at their 30th annual Ag Expo for fourth graders Sept. 15 and 16. They will begin around 9 a.m. and end at 2:30 p.m. at the Archer Complex, east of Cheyenne. Students will have 14 exhibits to go through. For more information, call 307-421-5368.
