Coyotes open season with win over Falcons

The Pawnee Coyote football team traveled to Briggsdale to play the Falcons and came home victorious winning 48-28. 

Senior Luke Duggan led the Pawnee scoring effort with six touchdowns. Zach Hastings, Bryce Schnug, and Drew Ellis each had one.

Duggan totaled 242 yards on the ground, Trent Holzworth had 72.

Leading the Coyotes in receiving yards was Ellis with 57. He was followed by schnug with 37.

 “Obviously, it was good to get the win but we definitely have a lot to work on,” coach Doug Miller stated.
