Lynda C. Wasielewski

Lynda C. Wasielewski, 61, of Bushnell, died at her home in Bushnell on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015. Cremation has been held and there will be no services at this time. There will be a private burial held at a later date.

Friends may visit http://www.cantrellfh.com to view Lynda's Tribute Wall and leave condolences and stories for the family. Memorials may be given in care of the family to contribute to carrying on Lynda's love of animals. The services for Lynda have been entrusted to the Cantrell Funeral Home.

Lynda Christine Wasielewski was born in Scottsbluff on Jan. 6, 1954; the daughter of Alex and Lucille (Nolke) Nickal. She was raised and attended school in Scottsbluff, and graduated from Scottsbluff High School in 1972.

She worked for Blaha GMC in Scottsbluff in their parts department, and became their assistant manager. Lynda moved to Kimball in 1980, and worked for Felton Chevrolet; and continued to work their through several different owners.

Lynda was married to Kent Wasielewski, her best friend for over 35 years, on Aug. 22, 2003.

In 2008, she went to work for Pine Bluffs NAPA, and continued working for them until retiring in 2013.

Lynda loved her pets, collected Beanie Babies, and was a fan of the Denver Broncos, Colorado Rockies, and the LosAngeles Lakers. She loved playing the slot machines, and enjoyed gambling trips. She was also an avid hunter, and enjoyed spending time in the field hunting turkeys and pheasants. She drew her first Nebraska Elk Tag for this year's season.

Survivors include her husband, Kent Wasielewski of Bushnell; brothers, Calvin (Carol) Nickal of Cheyenne, Gary (Sharol) Nickal of Torrington, and Terry (Debbie) Nickal of Gering; a sister, Cathie (Gerald) Teague of Thousand Oaks, Ca .; mother-in-law, Janet Mulvihill of Kimball; brother-in-law, Keith (Brandie) Wasielewski of Bushnell; sister-in-law, DeVota (Randy) Burry of Pine Bluffs.

Lynda had many nieces and nephews, who, over the years and seasons of life, she was close to and enjoyed; special nieces and nephews, Natasha, Gary Lee, Jamie Sue, Brandi, Ashley, Cassidy, Rick, Monica and Lane, as well as a host of friends and other family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Virginia Laverne and Tami Gross.
