Broncs stampeded by Dogies

Injuries continue to hamper Burns

Despite the fact that the Broncs lost to the Newscastle Dogies, they still managed to carry the ball for one touchdown. The Broncs No. 21, Alex Pyle, pictured above running to keep Nercastle's No. 12 from taking him down, moved the ball more than once during the game. The Broncs are not able to play to full capacity due to team injuries, but managed to avoid more injuries during this game.

A road trip up to Newcastle leave the Burns Broncs still searching for their first win of the season. Burns was able to get one touchdown in a 56-7 routing by the Dogies.

 Newcastle scored all of their points unanswered until late in the fourth quarter. Danny Jensen was able to break away for a 66-yard touchdown run.

Newcastle scored 22 points in the first quarter off of runs by Ethan Schuessler, Cameron Quigley, and Triston Roberson.

Scoring in the second saw Schuessler with two more rushing TDs, and with a passing touchdown to Ricky Larson.
