Community Calendar

Items for possible inclusion in the weekly community calendar should be typewritten or legibly printed. All submissions should include the name and daytime telephone number of the person submitting the information in case questions arise.

Items which may be included in the calendar are church events, club meetings, and school events.

If your club will not be meeting or has a change, please contact us so we can update the calendar with the correct information as soon as possible.

Items should be received on Monday at 5 p.m., one week prior to the date they will appear in the calendar.

They may be faxed to 307-245-3325, e-mailed to [email protected], mailed to Pine Bluffs Post, P.O. Box 68, Pine Bluffs, WY 82082, or dropped off at the Post’s office located at 201 E. 2nd St.

Every Weekday Morning

Every morning from 8 a.m. to 10:30 .m. you can get together with your friends for coffee and conversation at the Pine Bluffs Senior Center.

Every Tuesday

Every Tuesday at 1 p.m. Bingo is held at the Pine Bluffs Senior Center.

Every Monday,

Wednesday & Friday

Senior Shape Up at the Pine Bluffs Fitness Center from 8:15 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. This is a free exercise program designed to promote flexibility, muscle strength, coordination and general overall fitness.

Monday, September 28

The Laramie County Cowbelles will be meeting Sept. 28, at noon, at the Plains Hotel. If you are interested in attending, please contact Carole Goertz at 307-547-3423.

Tuesday, September 29

There will be a Wellness Screening in the Pine Bluffs High School Commons from 7 a.m to 9:30 a.m.

Blood pressure and body fat analysis/BMI screenings will be available at no charge. Free shingles shots for those 60 years of age and older will be provided by the health department.

Saturday, October 3

From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Pine Bluffs Community Center parking lot a hands on family event will be held where kids of all ages will have a chance to see and touch trucks and tractors both big and small.

Parents, don’t forget your camera.

Monday, October 5

Monday at the Matinee will be held at the Community Center, at 1 p.m. Admission is free. Popcorn and a drink will be provided, children under 10 must be accompanied.

Monday, October 19

The Annual Health Fair and Flu Shot Clinic will be held at the Pine Bluffs Senior Center, and is open to the public.

A number of vendors, as well as a Veteran’s Service officer will be available.
