Big plays late in game sting Hornets

The Hornets did not make it easy for the Southeast Cyclones Friday night, even though they didn't win, but they did manage to get some serious points on the scoreboard. Ishmael DePaulittle, Hornet No. 25 (above) caught a 65-yard touchdown pass from Hornet Haize Fornstrom despite the Cyclones best efforts to stop him. Ruger Lewis (left) Pine Bluff Hornet No, 33 carried the ball down the field multiple times on Friday night for 121 yards.

It was back and fourth for three quarters, Friday night, as the Pine Bluffs Hornets were on the road to take on the Southeast Cyclones. Despite keeping the score close, Southeast eventually got the upper-hand and secured a 24-12 victory.

Southeast scored first with a one-yard touchdown run in the second quarter by Chance Werner. The PAT kick was blocked by the Hornets, 6-0.

The Hornets answered back with a 65-yard touchdown pass from Haize Fornstrom to Ishmael DePaullite. Fornstrom's PAT kick was no good, 6-6.
