First snowfall of season expected

 


According to the Wyoming Department of Transportation, confidence is increasing for the first widespread snowfall of the season across southeast Wyoming.

A mix of rain and snow will most likely begin Wednesday morning over Carbon county, and in the afternoon along the east of the Laramie Range, and continue into Thursday morning. Precipitation will generally change to all snow by late Wednesday evening.

Significant snow accumulations are expected for the mountains and the Interstate 80 corridor between Laramie and Cheyenne. A winter storm watch is expected to be issued for the potential of...
