Pine Bluffs Post - Serving all of Eastern Laramie County since 1908

Hereford News

This week at the Hereford Community Church Mel and Donna Hoke celebrated their anniversary. For the special, Carol Opdycke read a story about Dr. Bob Pierce, then Shirley Wiggin read an article from the Looking Back section of the Pine Bluffs Post about Ceylon Kopsa, who was Donna Hoke’s mother. The sermon topic for the day was Three Prophets - Habakkuk, Zephaniah, and Haggai.

On Nov. 8 the congregation will get to watch a film, Monumental. It tells about how our country began. Then on Nov. 15 the Prairie Songbirds will be performing I Love This Land. This is a tribute to Veteran’s Day.

There will be a potluck dinner following the service. This will be the annual Harvest Home and Thanksgiving celebration. Anyone who may have attended the church in years past is invited to attend again.
