The congregation at the Hereford Community Church watched a film on Sunday, Nov. 8. Monumental is about the pilgrims and all the hardships they endured to get to America where they established the foundation for our great country.

Next week, Nov. 15, the church will celebrate Harvest Home and Thanksgiving. The Prairie Songbirds choir will perform the cantata I Love This Land. After the 11 a.m. service there will be a dinner with turkey and lots of good food. Those attending are asked to bring a side dish and a friend.

Then, on Nov. 22, the sermon topic will be The Secret of Thanksgiving.
