We continue our reading and discussion series Muslim Journeys with the final book of the series. Wise, funny, and heartbreaking, Persepolis is Marjane Satrapi’s memoir of growing up in Iran during the Islamic Revolution. Satrapi tells the story of her life in Tehran from ages six to fourteen, years that saw the overthrow of the Shah’s regime and the devastating effects of war. This series is offered by the Wyoming Humanities Council, and is free and open to the public. Visit the library to register and pick up a copy of the book. (Adults; Pine Bluffs Branch Library)
