Pine Bluffs honors local veterans

U.S. veterans from all branches were honored last Wednesday with a variety of Veterans Day activities. Ceremonies started early in the day with a prayer service at Louis E. Canady American Legion Post 60, followed by a 21-gun salute.

In the afternoon, a Veterans Day Assembly took place in the gym at Pine Bluffs High School. Student Council President Jaclyn Davison welcomed veterans and guests, followed by the presentation of colors by Lucy and Peter Syvanen of the Wyoming Civil Patrol.
