Pawnee High School senior Luke Duggan runs for a touchdown against Eads in the final game of the football season on November 7. Duggan is a multi-sport athlete at PHS, participating in football, basketball and track. After high school, he plans to run track at the University of Northern Colorado while studying psychology.
The season for Pawnee football may be over, but for senior Luke Duggan, there's plenty of competition ahead.
It seems Duggan can't get enough sports, having played basketball, football and running track in all four of his high school years, and even participating in baseball in his freshman year; the last time Pawnee fielded a team on the diamond.
"It doesn't feel like my senior year, it's all gone by so fast," Duggan said.
He says it takes some adjustment to go from one sport to another, but it's all about conditioning and getting focused.
