For the special this week, Shirley Wiggin read about Thanksgiving from her Shirley Club letter, then Carol Opdycke read Yes I Am Thankful. The sermon topic for the day was The Secret of Thanksgiving, and the scripture was Psalm 107:1-32. Next week, Nov. 29, the sermon topic will be Anticipation.
The 55 And Up Club will hold their next potluck luncheon on Friday, Dec. 11, at 12 p.m. at the Friendship Alliance North Church. Everyone 55 and over is welcome to attend.
