Tomb hiding in plain sight

Could it be that King Tut’s tomb was a handy, make-shift burial chamber when he died suddenly at the age of 19? At least one Egyptologist believes the tomb was actually built for his predecessor, Queen Nefertiti.

Archeologist Nicholas Reeves is out to prove that Nefertiti’s remains lie behind a wall in Tut’s burial chamber. She died more than 3,300 years ago and her body has never been found. Apparently, Reeves suggests, Tut was too young when he died to have built his own tomb, so they put him in an outer compartment of a much more elaborate tomb in which the Queen was buried.
