On Dec. 6 at the Hereford Community Church, Andrea Reifschneider and Jan Hauer celebrated their birthdays.

The second Advent candle was lit by Rosalyn, Andrea and Tommy Reifschneider.

For the special, Kathy Zitek read Ready For Battle from her daily devotional. The sermon topic was Christmas Prophecies. There were several scriptures.

Next week the sermon topic will be The Family Tree. The topic for Dec. 20 will be Joseph and Mary. On Sunday evening, Dec. 20, the church will celebrate their Christmas candlelight service beginning at 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.
