BHS students hold Christmas concert

The Burns Jr/Sr High School Band and high school Choir performed a Christmas concert to a packed house last week. The high school band started out the evening playing a medley of songs from popular Christmas movies and programs, such as Charlie Brown's Christmas and Home Alone. The combined band (shown) played the tune Bullet Train, which incorporated horns, strings, wind and percussion instruments; the March from The Nutcracker; and ended with a lively number, Santa Rocks the House, complete with electric guitar.
