Sierra Shelit goes up for two points against Wind River in girls basketball play Saturday night during the Burns Winter Classic. The Lady Hornets won 64-19 to improve to 4-0 on the season.
The Pine Bluffs Lady Hornets stung the competition last weekend during the Burns Winter Classic, taking down all four opponents they faced to start the season at 4-0.
Kemmerer
The first victim was Kemmerer, who took a slim 14-13 lead after the first quarter of play and increased their lead to 26-21 at the break. The Lady Rangers looked to be in good shape in the early going of the second half, padding their lead to 39-30 by the end of the third quarter.
In the final eight minutes of play, the Lady Hornets rebounded to outscore Kemmerer 19-2 in the fourth and come back for a 49-41 win.
