Burns Day cancelled due to lack of volunteers

Burn Town Clerk Toni McNamar says there will not be a Burns Day in 2016 as there don't seem to be enough people interested to help put it on. McNamar informed Burns Town Council Dec. 15 the event is a big deal to prepare and four or five people are not enough to staff it.

Kim Kranz said those who have worked Burns Day in the past did a good job but now they are not able to do it anymore and she feels there are a lot of negative comments towards them for not doing it.
