Broncs improve record with road wins at Lusk


After starting the season with a 2-2 record, the Burns Broncs were able to get on the winning side of things last weekend, taking two of three games at the Tiger Jamboree in Lusk and improving to 4-3.


Last Friday, Burns faced Arvada-Clearmont on the first day of play. The game was evenly matched in the first quarter, with each team scoring 13 points. The Broncs pulled ahead in the second, outscoring the Panthers 16-7 and taking a 29-20 lead into the break.

The game stayed even for the third quarter as Burns took a slight edge 12-11 to go up 41-31.
