Community Calendar

Items for possible inclusion in the weekly community calendar should be typewritten or legibly printed. All submissions should include the name and daytime telephone number of the person submitting the information in case questions arise.

Items which may be included in the calendar are church events, club meetings, and school events.

If your club will not be meeting or has a change, please contact us so we can update the calendar with the correct information as soon as possible.

Items should be received on Monday at 5 p.m., one week prior to the date they will appear in the calendar.

They may be faxed to 307-245-3325, e-mailed to [email protected], mailed to Pine Bluffs Post, P.O. Box 68, Pine Bluffs, WY 82082, or dropped off at the Post’s office located at 201 E. 2nd St.

Every Weekday Morning

Every morning from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. you can get together with your friends for coffee and conversation at the Pine Bluffs Senior Center.

Every Tuesday

Every Tuesday at 1 p.m. Bingo is held at the Pine Bluffs Senior Center.

Every Wednesday

Pick up pickleball will be held Wednesdays at the Community Center from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Pickleball is a game played indoors on a small court with a paddle and whiffle ball. Free of charge, everyone is welcome.

Every Monday, Wednesday & Friday

Senior Shape Up at the Pine Bluffs Fitness Center from 8:15 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. This is a free exercise program designed to promote flexibility, muscle strength, coordination and general overall fitness.

Thursday, Dec. 31

New Year’s Eve Mass at 5 p.m. at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Pine Bluffs.

Friday, Jan. 1

New Year’s Day Mass at 9:30 a.m. at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Pine Bluffs.

Sunday, Jan. 3

The monthly dance hosted by The Dalton Fuller Band will be held Sunday, Jan. 3, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Please bring your favorite finger food dish to the potluck dinner at 5 p.m.

Monday, Jan. 4

Monday at the Matinee will be held at the Community Center at 1 p.m. Admission is free. Popcorn and a drink will be provided, children under 10 must be accompanied.

Tuesday, Jan. 5

Vitamins and Supplements information session. Offered at the Pine Bluffs Senior Center from 5:00-6:30 p.m.

Thursday, Jan. 7

Laramie County Weed & Pest Control District will hold its regular monthly board meeting on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016, at the Little Bear Inn, Cheyenne, at 6:30 p.m.

Saturday, Jan. 23

Senior Citizen Day at Pine Bluffs basketball versus Lusk, Jan. 23. Lunch tickets provided, 1 p.m. Bus pickup available. Call 307-245-3816 before Jan. 21.
