Key dates for Wyoming hunting near

As the year comes to an end hunters should be aware of several important dates.

2016 application information

For those hunters planning to hunt in 2016, applications for residents, non-residents, and landowners open 8 a.m. MST on Jan. 4, 2016. This is for limited quota elk, deer, antelope, moose, bighorn sheep, mountain goat, and spring turkey.

Applications for wild bison open on Feb. 1, 2016. There are varying deadlines to apply depending on residency and species. For specific draw deadlines and detailed application information, please visit the Wyoming Game and Fish website.
