Planning is vital to battle old man winter

Although the winter solstice didn’t officially arrive until December 21, mother nature has already dealt us several punches of wintry weather that would send those not used to driving in snow and ice huddling under the blankets and hibernating until they see the first blade of grass, which in our case would be about four months from now.

So as we prepare to hunker down for the long cold months ahead, let’s see where we stand this year and go over what to do if you find yourself out in the elements.
