Hornets buzz past Kaycee
Solid performance and multiple players scoring double digits, helped the Pine Bluffs Hornets sweep all teams at the Winter Classic in Sheridan County, last weekend. The Hornets started play against Kaycee.
Hunter Thompson and Kyle Steger combined for 34 points against Kaycee, on Thursday evening.
The Hornets scored 14 points in the first period and followed with 12 more in the second to lead 26-20 at the half.
Kaycee outscored the Hornets 10-7 in the third but could not take the lead. Pine Bluffs then powered away for 21 points in the fourth to finish the game 54-44...
