Second half offensive onslaught leads Lady Broncs to victory

Jessica Malm led the Lady Broncs with 13 points in a home win against Lingle-Fort Laramie last Friday.

Solid second half play led the Burns Lady Broncs to victory over visiting Lingle-Fort Laramie, Friday, at home, 44-34.

The Lady Broncs struggled offensively in the first half of play scoring a combined 14 points. Lingle-Fort Laramie took the early first half lead scoring 20.

Coming out of the locker room, the Lady Broncs seemed to decide it was time to get to work. Lighting up the scoreboard for 14 in the third and another 16 in the fourth helped them keep and take the lead.

Defensively the home team continued to play strong as they held the visitors to a combined 14 points in the second half.

Leading the Burns scoring effort was Jessica Malm with 13. She was followed by Katie Norris with eight, Reata Beck had five, Madisyn Mirich and Brittani Wilson each had four. Kelsey Faircloth and Malli O'Neal shot three each, and Morgan Griess had two.
