Six-two Hornet senior also named to 2016 Shrine Bowl roster
Pine Bluffs High School senior Kyle Jeffres signed as a walk-on with the University of Wyoming last Wednesday. Jeffres plans to study physical education while attending UW. He will also play in the upcoming 2016 Shrine Bowl on June 11 in Casper.
Local University of Wyoming football fans will have extra reason to root for the Cowboys over the next few years. That's because Pine Bluffs High School senior Kyle Jeffres signed a letter of commitment as a walk-on to play football at UW last week. If that wasn't enough to be excited about, the 6-foot-2, 215-pound Jeffres was also recently named to the roster of the 2016 Shrine Bowl.
Becoming a Cowboy has been a life-long dream for Jeffres and he is excited about being able to contribute on the field in the near future.
