Pawnee boys split a pair with conference foes

 


The Pawnee Coyotes won one and lost one last week to move to 4-7 in league play and 5-12 overall.

Last Thursday, the Coyotes hosted Briggsdale in a conference contest. From the opening tip-off, the Coyotes wasted no time taking control of the game in the first quarter, scoring 20 unanswered points in the first frame.

In the second period, Pawnee was able to edge Briggsdale 13-12 to take a 33-12 lead into the break.

The Coyotes outpaced the Falcons 19-10 to open the second half, jumping out to a 52-22 lead heading into the last quarter.
