Lady Broncs fall in Consolation rounds

 


Capping off what has been a hard-fought season, the Burns Lady Broncs entered the State tournament as a number four seed in Casper last Thursday.

The girls kicked off their tournament play against number one seed Wyoming Indian at Casper College at 9 a.m.

Wyoming Indian jumped out to a fast lead in the first quarter with 14 points. The Lady Broncs were held to four points.

In the second, the Lady Broncs were able to get their footing as they put up 13 points. Wyoming Indian was able to tack on another 14.

At the half it was Wyoming Indian with the 28-17 lead.
