The Town of Pine Bluffs is eager to show off its dual 2A basketball state championship with this temporary sign that will be placed at the entrance to town. This sign will eventually be replaced with a permanent sign that will mark the championships.
Pine Bluffs town councilors have the Hornets' back.
At their regularly scheduled meeting Monday, March 21, the Pine Bluffs Town Council discussed spending $250 on a sign informing visitors to the town of the state champion 2A boys and girls basketball teams.
Both teams recently won the state title.
The sign will be placed at the town's entrance.
"The whole town had a small part to celebrate along with our athletes," Councilor Mark Fornstrom said.
During their meeting Monday, councilors also learned that the search for a new police officer will continue.
