Burns girls finish third; boys sixth at home

Just before another spring snowfall hit the area last weekend, Burns High School played host to track and field teams from Cheyenne East, Cheyenne Central, Niobrara County, Southeast, Pine Bluffs, Lingle-Ft. Laramie and Saratoga last Friday. Despite the chilly temperatures, the athletes were primed and ready to get the Burns Invitational in the record books. By the time all events were completed, the Burns girls edged out Pine Bluffs by half a point to finish third as a team.
