Pine Bluffs Post - Serving all of Eastern Laramie County since 1908

Albin News

The birds seem to be singing to us again. The song might change again before summer, but it sure sounds like the song of spring.

Birds are not the only ones providing beautiful music lately. The students at Albin Elementary have been rehearsing for their spring concert. They would be delighted to sing to you Thursday, May 5 at 5:30. There will also be a silent auction. Don’t miss the beautiful sounds of our youth.

The birthday song will be sung locally to a few of our neighbors and friends. This week two of our bestest men turn another year older and another year wiser. Gerald Krakow and Mike Sorensen both celebrate April 28. They might sing out of tune, but friends and family like those two are always music to our ears.

Kayla Krakow turns another year older and another year prettier May 3. Greg Woolington also gets serenaded that day. He might not get any prettier, but we sure appreciate his work on the town council.

If you whistle while you work, keep on puckering because the town cleanup day is coming up quick. May 14 is the date this year. Call or stop by the town hall for all the information.

If all your cleaning reveals boxes of unwanted items, perhaps you might want to purchase a table at the Pine Bluffs Community Garage Sale. A little green would make the summer music even sweeter.
