Burns approves $12,000 for tree removal;budget

During their monthly meeting, the Burns Town Council approved spending $12,000 to remove dead trees throughout town.

The town originally had allocated $8,000 for the project, but the lowest bid came in at $12,000. The decision drained the remaining money from the town's recreation fund for the year.
