Last Friday, the sun wasn't the only thing scorching the ground in Pine Bluffs. The Summer Roping Series fired up for its second week of action on June 10.
In the Open Header category, Ron Lien scored six points, followed by Mike Schulz with five, Bret Nelson with four, Todd Bishop with three, Curt Epler with two and Bryton Scheller with one.
The Open Heeler event was led by Clay Brow with six points, then Clay Stecklein with five, Matt Idler with four, Kelly Merrick with three, Chase Merrick with two and DJ Tidyman with one.
