Three PBHS coaches named Coach of the Year

The Wyoming Coaches Association recently named three Pine Bluffs High School coaches as Coach of the Year for their roles in their respective teams winning state championships this past school year. From left, head boys basketball coach Will Gray, head girls basketball coach Lindsey Forbes, LCSD2 Athletic Director Kendra Roeder and head boys cross country and track and field coach Dustin Lee.

Three Pine Bluffs High School coaches were recently named Wyoming Coach of the Year, but they all insist the honor lies with their athletes.

Both girls and boys basketball coaches Will Gray and Lindsey Forbes were named Wyoming Coach of the year for coaching boys and girls basketball, respectively. Both their teams won state titles.

Forbes said all the credit goes to the athletes.

"Really, the kids do all the work.

"It's nice to win this award, but it wouldn't be possible without the athletes," Forbes said.

Gray agreed.

"It was pretty cool to be in the same room as the Hall of Famers....
