The race for Commissioner

This is the third part of a four-part weekly series to focus on the Laramie County Commissioner race before the August 16 primary election.

After serving a term on the Laramie County Board of Commissioners, Amber Ash is looking to continue her work.

Ash is among four Republican candidates and two incumbents running for two available seats this election cycle. Ash said she has worked to increase revenue for Laramie County during her time on the commission, and she hopes to continue doing just that.

Before earning a seat on the council in 2012, Ash served on the Cheyenne City Council.
