Lady Broncs still reaching for wins



Burns sophomore libero Malli O'Neal goes up for a return in volleyball action against Lingle at home last Thursday. The Lady Broncs fell 3-1 in the contest, and were swept 3-0 by Pine Bluffs the following day to move to 1-6 on the season. This weekend, both Burns and Pine Bluffs volleyballers are in tournament play at Big Horn.

September hasn't been kind to the Burns volleyball team. On Sept. 1, they lost 3-1 to Lingle (25-10, 25-13, 24-26, 25-17) and then the following day, they were swept by the Pine Bluffs Lady Hornets 3-0 (25-22, 25-22, 25-18).

Individual stats for the Lingle match were:

Shae Halls- 5 aces, 5 digs

Isa Sanchez - 4 kills, 4 assists, 6 digs

Ariana Cudney- 3 kills

Katie Norris- 3 kills, 5 digs

Madisyn Mirich- 2 kills

Willow Martin- 3 kills, 7 assists, 8 digs

Malli O'Neal- 11 digs

Kylie Trembath- 6 digs

For the Pine Bluffs match, individual stats were:
