Lang joins National Guard

Kelby Lang, a 2007 graduate of Pine Bluffs High School, recently enlisted in the Army National Guard. He took the oath on February 26, 2016 and shipped out to Fort Benning in Columbus, Ga. on August 22, 2016. Kelby is currently in 10-week Basic Combat Training as an infantryman.

After completion of basic training, Kelby plans to continue his Advanced Individual Training for another four weeks at Fort Benning. Kelby lives in Saratoga, Wyo. and is a lineman for Carbon Power and Light.

He is also a volunteer firefighter and a member of the Search and Rescue Team for Carbon County.
