Giving back the past

Zane Pavlica, owner of Tumbleweed Bar, acquired this panoramic photo from the Laramie County Fair and Rodeo in 2012. The dates on the photo are Sept. 2, 3 and 4 but the year is unknown because the writing blends into the photo. Some of the vehicles in the photo are dated to be around 1938. This picture was taken when the fairgrounds were across the railroad tracks. Mr. Pavlica donated the photo to the Texas Trail Museum last Thursday. Visitors to the museum are welcome to help determine the year this photo was taken.
