This is one of the new license plates available in 2017 in Wyoming. Applications were being accepted starting Oct. 1.
Starting in 2017, the Wyoming Department of Transportation will add two new plate designs featuring the Lower Green River Lake and Squaretop Mountain to the state's 12 specialty plates, the prestige plates and the standard plates motorists receive at the county when registering their vehicles. Applications for 2017 prestige plates with the new background image were available as of October 1, 2016. WYDOT stopped accepting applications for the specialty and prestige plates featuring the Tetons on Sept. 24.
