High West earns USDA Cooperative Partnership of the Year Award

High West Energy CEO/General Manager Brian Heithoff, right, accepts the "Partnership of the Year" award from Scott Sutherland, USDA Community Economic Development Specialist Monday morning during a ceremony at the coop's building in Pine Bluffs. High West Energy was recognized for it's invaluable contributions to the community and local economy.

High West Energy of Pine Bluffs was awarded by the Wyoming United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) as the state's "Cooperative Partnership of the Year" award Monday morning during a brief ceremony at the company's headquarters.

High West Energy received a Rural Economic Development Loan earlier this year from USDA. This money was obtained to help aid the new Wyoming Malting Company and Pine Bluffs Distillery company purchase equipment and help finance the construction of the first craft malt house in the state.
