Pine Bluffs-Burns lady harriers roll a lucky seventh consecutive state title

The Pine Bluffs-Burns girls cross country team stands atop the podium after earning their seventh straight Wyoming 2A state championship this past weekend in Sheridan.

Watching the Pine Bluffs – Burns Lady Cross Country Team posing with each other and their first place trophy, coaches Cole Manlove, Dustin Lee and Ashley Rousseau all agreed on one thing: it never gets old. The lady runners brought home the Wyoming 2A State Cross Country Title Saturday from Sheridan. Again. As in the seventh time.

Although what makes it memorable isn't that it's the seventh time they have gone out to dominate the sport, it's the camaraderie and relationships that grew stronger over the season to unite the team as a family. In talking with the group of girls, it's the one...
