Upcoming Veterans Day programs

Since 1938 when the United States Congress declared November 11 as Veterans Day, citizens have honored those who have fought for the U.S. in all wars. This year will be no different as local schools want to show their respect of those who were brave and courageous to fight for this nation.

The Pine Bluffs schools will be hosting a breakfast of muffins and fruit for veterans and students Nov. 9 starting at 8 a.m. in the Historic Pine Bluffs High School. Afterwards, veterans, community members and families are invited to attend the Veterans Day program at 9 a.m. in the high school gym.
