The Pawnee Coyotes football team is on a roll, winning the last five games including the first round playoff game in the Colorado 1A Six-Man football playoffs against undefeated Cotopaxi Saturday.
Both Pawnee and Cotopaxi were scoreless in both the first and second quarters for a tied game of 0-0 at halftime. The Coyotes came out in the third quarter and put up 14 points on the scoreboard while Cotopaxi added eight. Pawnee took control of the game during the fourth quarter as they scored 23 points to Cotopaxi's six points. Coyotes won 37-14 to advance to the semi-final game.
