Jim and Dyna Hackett of Hillsdale patiently wait for their food in the Burns Cafe Thursday morning. The Burns Cafe is now open in the northeast corner of the Burns Plex, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as their signature home-made pizza.
In what most remember being the music room at the old Burns Elementary school, now thrives as the only place in Burns to grab a bite to eat.
About two months ago, Jodee and Mark Zitek opened up the Burns Café after closing the doors on their café in Hereford in January of 2015. "When we heard that it was available, I thought to myself, I have got to try this. So we jumped in and it's been excellent," Jodee explained. "The support we have gotten has been just great."
