Expected I-80 construction for summer 2017

The Nebraska Department of Roads (NDOR) is anticipating construction to begin on Interstate 80 (I-80) as early as summer of 2017 to rehabilitate the existing roadway, bridges and ramps in Kimball County.

A public information meeting was held in Bushnell Oct. 26, in which 15 citizens were in attendance. “The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the project, potential impacts and receive input,” NDOR Public Involvement Manager Sarah Kugler explained. “The meeting went very well.
