Pine Bluffs' Shelit earns Sportsmanship award From WHSAA

Pine Bluffs Senior Sierra Shelit was honored by the Wyoming High School Activities Association recently for her displays of good sportsmanship.

According to the press release, Shelit was recognized by the officiating crew Debby Followell and Jeanne Scheneman of the Cheyenne Volleyball Officials Association. During the game between Pine Bluffs and Southeast Sept. 16, Followell and Scheneman noted that Shelit offered encouragement to her teammates and when she would make a mistake, would get right back into the game.
