Hornets dish out poetic justice on regular season victors

Given their 4-4 finish last season, who knew what was in store for Hornet football fans in 2016? But it's odd how, the team that brought their season to a halt last year, Tongue River, was the same team team they beat to win the state title this year.

Can it also be chalked up as coincidence that the two teams that beat Pine Bluffs during the regular season, Tongue River and Upton-Sundance, are the exact teams they re-matched with and beat during the playoffs to win it all?

Some will say simply that this was the Hornets' year. And that certainly looked to be the case at the start of the sea...
