Blowing in the wind

Sustained winds of 52mph were to blame for this tractor-trailer blowover on eastbound I-80 just outside Pine Bluffs Monday afternoon. According to the Wyoming Highway Patrol, the rig, driven by Eric Gunder of Missouri, was traveling with an empty trailer when the high winds sent the truck toppling onto its right side, injuring passenger Ruth Allen, also of Missouri. Allen was transported to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center for treatment. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
