The 2A #1-ranked Pine Bluffs Hornets and Lady Hornets will be defending their dual state basketball titles starting today as high school basketball gets under way with the Burns Winter Classic tournament.

Pine Bluffs will get things started Thursday starting at 4 p.m. with a girls match-up with Wyoming Indian. The boys will follow at 5:30 p.m.

Burns will host Moorcroft on the opening night, with the girls playing at 7 p.m. and the boys playing the nightcap game starting at 8:30 p.m.

Friday will bring a full day of hardwood action spread across three gyms: Burns Jr/Sr High School gym, Burns...
